RE: Commercial 3D printer businesses? - EdK - 03-08-2022 Willie, I printed three of these. First one was without the height modifiers, second one with them. The third one I printed with them but printed at the highest quality that my printer can print at. Very minor difference with the height modifiers and very minor difference with the higher quality. I'll send all three along with the tray. Ed [attachment=17812] RE: Commercial 3D printer businesses? - Highpower - 03-08-2022 I can't thank you enough Ed. I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I bought the Tormek. Quite the minefield to have to navigate through... I'll just leave it at that. The printer started beeping when it was time to switch filaments. When I printed the first one and it started beeping I thought it was a smoke alarm warning me of a low battery. Ed RE: Commercial 3D printer businesses? - Highpower - 03-09-2022 Funny. Two weeks ago I kept hearing a repetitive "doink" noise from outside the house 24/7. Just barely audible but still loud enough to annoy the heck out of us since it was all day, every day. It seemed to be coming from the house next door to us. We had a new neighbor that moved in a couple of months ago and they have had workers crawling all over the house making changes. We figured they had a new home security system installed since they have one of those little security signs posted in the front yard now. After about a week and a half of listening to this it suddenly hit me that it sounded familiar to me. I grabbed my keys off my desk and pointed the key fob at that side of the house and hit the unlock button. No response. I hit the lock button. No response. With COVID and all my car basically hasn't moved in two years now. Guess who's car battery was nearly completely dead - and the alarm system was freaking out and didn't have enough voltage to even blow the horns completely.
