Sorry guys, no porn tonight. I spent a bunch of time looking for the tooling. Then I went to tackle tramming the head but decided to sweep the table length first.
4.5 thousands.  Yikes  I started getting concerned and kept trying things to get it better like locking all of the gibs except the X. Didn't help and was about to call it a day when I decided to try a different setup. On my  first attempts I had chucked up a cheap indicator holder into the drill chuck and used my Mitutoyo DTI. The second method was to use my Noga indicator holder along with the Mitutoyo DTI and stuck it to the saddle. Much better at .00025 the length of the table. So I ended the evening on a good note and will tackle the tramming tomorrow morning.

Is that saying the saddle is moving Ed?
