RE: Rotary project, maybe???? - TOM REED - 09-25-2012 Excellent work a very nice project that you can be proud of. tom RE: Rotary project, maybe???? - stevec - 09-25-2012 Ah don't go giving him a swelled head! He's been doing disgustingly beautiful work for many years, Rolls Royce aero engines don't get built by hackers like me. RE: Rotary project, maybe???? - ETC57 - 09-25-2012 Just think some day I'll graduate from go cart wheel hubs to key fobs to tooling and mabe some day something as accurate as an RT. Awesome work Claude. Jerry. RE: Rotary project, maybe???? - claudef - 09-26-2012 Finally made the handle for the dial, then I went on to Graduating the dial, I was going to graduate it in Degrees and minutes but by the time I got to working on it I realized that Graduating in minutes would be impossible with a spin indexer, so I opted for decimals (ten lines per one deg.) this was much easier. This morning I made the adjustable marker for the main table. I bent the curve in a hardwood form and tested it on the table, it was very close so I decided to run a 6" wheel in the form .008" for near cleanup. Now complete except for the TTTT nuts. I guess this thread is long enough so onto to the next project. Thanks for all the feedback and positive responses. Claude RE: Rotary project, maybe???? - EdK - 09-26-2012 Gorgeous workmanship Claudef! Ed RE: Rotary project, maybe???? - stevec - 09-26-2012 Ya, ok, I'll give in, Great work Claude! There, I did it.
