Most of mine get used, but not all of them. I have a weakness for NOS Lufkin tools and most of those stay snuggled in their cool yellow boxes.

Hahaha... A wrong term altogether...

My Proxxon radius cutting tool was used only once... Is tool collection the same as stamp collection?

No. Unlike a stamp the minute you sell off a tool you haven't used in years, you will suddenly need it. In contrast, the stamp you sold off probably gained in value. The tool you sold off, not so much.
