RE: Peerless Shaper - f350ca - 10-10-2015 Starting to come together RE: Peerless Shaper - EdK - 10-10-2015 What happened to the chartreuse? Ed RE: Peerless Shaper - Mayhem - 10-11-2015 looking good Greg RE: Peerless Shaper - f350ca - 10-14-2015 The graduations on the swivel base behind the clapper box got pretty faint after the molasses dip so i mounted it on the indexing head and recut them with an engraver I ground out of a broken 1/4 inch carbide drill. Restamped the numbers as well. Getting it slowly together. Your right Vinny, the little box does set the focus, but it has a sun beside it, thought it was for exposure. RE: Peerless Shaper - PixMan - 10-14-2015 I would hardly call that "getting slowly together" my friend! Compared to my projects, you're running at Warp 11! Really beautiful work, thanks for sharing. RE: Peerless Shaper - Sunset Machine - 10-15-2015 I'll say. I've just been *fixing* a clapper for the last month. slow slow slow RE: Peerless Shaper - dallen - 10-15-2015 I'm waiting on the video of it throwing chips all the way across the shop. RE: Peerless Shaper - f350ca - 10-15-2015 As long as its chips and not me. RE: Peerless Shaper - Vinny - 10-15-2015 Well if that happens, we definitely want video! RE: Peerless Shaper - dallen - 10-15-2015 don't stand if front of it even if you were the last one that used it, damn things will reach out and hurt you, but I sure like watching mine run. I ever get the cast iron thing down pat I may start making guards to fit the little 7 inch Delta Shaper, guards are normally the first thing to get broken or lost, I was lucky mine came with all the guards. looks like you have it about back together.
