Grey is a colour of boredom ! as in the expresion "a grey day" Who wants to stand in front of a grey machine all day ? if that didn't drive you to drink then i don't know what would ? Lol, I've worked on brightly painted machines. It seemed like a good idea at first, but after a few shifts I was ready to gouge my eyes out. How about grey, pin striped in yellow, a nice lime green, or maybe even plum crazy purple? Tom RE: Power Crossfeed for Asian 9X20s - Mayhem - 07-26-2013 I've seen pictures of a BP that was painted in bright yellow. It actually looked pretty good. RE: Power Crossfeed for Asian 9X20s - Bill Gruby - 07-28-2013 Yellow BP, ouch. OK started the clutch. I need to add the rear set screw and the 10 index holes in the flange and part #1 is done. "Billy G" RE: Power Crossfeed for Asian 9X20s - Bill Gruby - 07-29-2013 Still no pulleys. Dang. OK 19 engagement holes this part is finished. "Billy G" RE: Power Crossfeed for Asian 9X20s - dallen - 07-29-2013 nice job Bob, this is interesting as I have a 9 inch lathe similar to yours I may do the same too, I notice that you did the reverse modification to your lathe mine if I ask how you installed it?. DA RE: Power Crossfeed for Asian 9X20s - Bill Gruby - 07-29-2013 The tumbler reverse on mine is a clone from the Steve Bedair site. Made the drive pin tomorrow I will make the slots and spring load it. "Billy G" RE: Power Crossfeed for Asian 9X20s - DaveH - 07-30-2013 Very neat DaveH RE: Power Crossfeed for Asian 9X20s - Bill Gruby - 07-30-2013 Dave. Pulleys are here but it's too late to do anything with them today. Rework tomorrow. "Billy G" RE: Power Crossfeed for Asian 9X20s - Bill Gruby - 07-30-2013 I don't care what she says, it's tomorrow somewhere. #1 is fitted. "Billy G" RE: Power Crossfeed for Asian 9X20s - TomG - 07-30-2013 I knew you couldn't resist. |
