RE: Latest UPS Delivery - Roadracer_Al - 10-09-2015 You're a good man, Ed. I also have a ROC 1-6" set of mics, and with every gauge block I've tested them against the mics have been spot on. While, yes, it would be just lovely to have some nice brand name mics, These work great. RE: Latest UPS Delivery - EdK - 10-09-2015 I forgot I had ordered this off of Amazon with free shipping from Japan. It came in the post today. Ed [attachment=11921] RE: USPS arrival - wawoodman - 10-12-2015 This could actually go in a few places: latest delivery, what did you do today, etc. I have a two axis Shooting Star DRO on my mill, but I wanted something for the quill. So I ordered the iGaging setup, and it showed up yesterday. Spent a few hours figuring out and fabbing the brackets, but it's there, and it works! RE: Latest Delivery - RobWilson - 10-13-2015 Evening Lads Just arrived today a wee Variac , 0 to 270v and it does what it says on the tin . Hand wheel is buggered ,but I knew that when I bought it , could stick it back together and cast one ,canny job for a 3D printer if I had one I have a rectifier knocking about somewhere that I will add to it so I have a 0 to 270v DC option , Rob RE: Latest Delivery - krv3000 - 10-13-2015 good one rob are you going to use it in your plating lab RE: Latest Delivery - RobWilson - 10-13-2015 (10-13-2015, 03:19 PM)krv3000 Wrote: good one rob are you going to use it in your plating lab Aye for that and for a few other projects Bob Rob RE: Latest Delivery - EdK - 10-13-2015 Those are very handy devices. Nice score. Ed RE: Latest Delivery - DaveH - 10-13-2015 Useful bit of kit DaveH RE: Latest Delivery - Hawkeye - 10-13-2015 Rob, make sure your rectifier is rated at more than 380 volts. At an RMS voltage of 270, the peak voltage is 270 x 1.414 = 382 volts.
