RE: Latest UPS Delivery - EdK - 09-18-2015 Hmm, I'm not having any of those problems with mine. Although I've not used the full radius inserts yet. Probably because I don't think I have any. Ed RE: Latest UPS Delivery - ieezitin - 09-19-2015 My Nikcole insert does not sit in line or parallel with the tool holder either, like you i was thinking it was a dud. I have had a little trouble with chatter too but also success so my story is the same as yours. I am waiting to purchase the threading bits to try them out, i am waiting on a silly cheap post on fle-bays to snatch them up like i did last time on some parting off inserts, I robbed they guy by paying $2.00 each for ten. Anthony. RE: Latest UPS Delivery - TomG - 09-19-2015 (09-18-2015, 06:43 AM)Mayhem Wrote: I spotted a Starrett S-828H centre finder set, which he was asking $25 for, which followed me home. Nice find Darren. We call them wigglers over here and they are nice, but not as accurate as the pin type edge finders. I use mine mostly for the point to pick up center punch marks or scribed lines, and for holding indicators. Tom RE: Latest UPS Delivery - RobWilson - 09-19-2015 This lot arrived this week (the chemicals and beakers on the tray) , mostly for project X Still waiting for a few things to turn up , the depleted Uranium must be stuck at customs Rob RE: Latest UPS Delivery - EdK - 09-19-2015 (09-19-2015, 11:06 AM)RobWilson. Ed RE: Latest UPS Delivery - Mayhem - 09-19-2015 Good one Rob - that post will get the site on a FBI watch list and your address highlighted with major crimes division in the UK... I do hope that the chap with the rubber gloves is gentle RE: Latest UPS Delivery - RobWilson - 09-19-2015 The Lads at work have taken to calling me Bomber Bob Rob RE: Latest UPS Delivery - dallen - 09-19-2015 looks like your fixing to maybe do some anodizing of aluminum RE: Latest UPS Delivery - EdK - 09-19-2015 (09-19-2015, 01:09 PM)dallen Wrote: looks like your fixing to maybe do some anodizing of aluminum That was my guess also until I saw this. http://www.metalworkingfun.com/thread-727-post-48789.html#pid48789 Ed RE: Latest UPS Delivery - Highpower - 09-19-2015 A couple more items scratched off of the "wish" list. Some recent flea-bay steals. 1/2" thick parallels. Adjustable parallels. Automatic drill drift. Wavy parallels still enroute.... [attachment=11845] |
