There is always the possibility of some idiot building one, chambering it for .223 then wondering where his head went. I thought it was a .32 S&W long? Just kidding folks... RE: Building The Steven's Favorite - DaveH - 06-24-2012 Tom, This is one fantastic post Tom Some more beautiful work. DaveH RE: Building The Steven's Favorite - ETC57 - 06-24-2012 So chambering it for 30.06 is out? Looking good Tom! Jerry. Let's put it this way: I wouldn't want to be standing behind the guy who tried it. RE: Building The Steven's Favorite - ETC57 - 06-24-2012 Tom, that's a great pic! It should be framed and hung in a 4H rifle safety club house. Jerry. RE: Building The Steven's Favorite - Highpower - 06-24-2012 Did I miss a step? When did you get a barrel on there? Look at it as a sneak peek of things to come. Tom RE: Building The Steven's Favorite - November X-ray - 06-24-2012 Excellent work, I am watching this with my mouth watering! Regarding the 30-06 comment, I know where there is a derringer a guy built for a 45-70. I also know of no one that would try to shoot it, not even the drunk rednecks that are nearby! My short barrel 45-70 rifle is quite a handful and that's using both hands, I cannot imagine trying to hold a pistol in that caliber, much less a tiny derringer. Thanks for showing your talents! RE: Building The Steven's Favorite - doubleboost - 06-24-2012 Tom This is a real first class post There is not much you have not covered Looking forward to the next installment John |
