I HATE YOU!!!! Maybe you could write up a quick "How to get your shiny bits shinier"!!! Awesome work and it is going to be a fine machine when you are done! The mill kind of has the same shape as my Clausing! Andrew RE: 626 milling machine converted to CNC - RobWilson - 07-02-2012 i hate me too Andrew Evening chaps Made a start on the Y axis bearing/motor mount block ,,,, whittled from a bit mystery metal . Setup in the lathe for boring . Bored for bearings and seal . Still needs a tad more machining. Looks good Rob DaveH RE: 626 milling machine converted to CNC - RobWilson - 07-03-2012 it will look ok with a coat of paint Well grabbed an hour or so in the shop tonight .Mounted block on the fixture plate i used to machine the table ends and set the job up on the face plate to machine the spigot that locates the block on the knee. Ruffed the job out . Had to leave it there for tonight and let the job cool down and check that nothing has moved as i was riving on. Rob RE: 626 milling machine converted to CNC - EdK - 07-03-2012 As usual Rob, very nice machining. That reminds me, I need to order a bull nose center for a project coming up in the near future.
