I have a screened back porch ... it sure is heaven sitting out there listening to the night. Greg, that dog standing there where the grass is lighter. Looks like he is yard art.... do tell em I said that.

That dog is known as "Quality Control".

BF we need a name. I'd probably do a lot of wood working for a chance to go horseback riding again, been years, once upon a time spent a fair bit of time riding in the rockies.
Your right Tom, I've had them before, can't believe I've suffered this long without one.
A lot of deep thought can happen on the back porch Pepi.
Had Quality Control totally freaked out again on the weekend Vinny, she doesn't understand diving. We weren't very deep, I could see her coming out and making a circle above us every few minutes then all over me when I tried to get out of the water.

A name for what?

Greg, that means your dog loves you and wants to rescue you. My wife is an open water swimmer (in the 55-ish degree San Francisco Bay, of all places), and occasionally she swims from a small beach near our house. Our dog also freaks out when he sees her wading into the water, and will run up to her, grab her hand and pull her back onto the beach.

That brought back some memories for me. One of my late Aunt and Uncle's had a dog (a good ole "mutt") that loved to swim and dive. They owned some property out in the country that had a good size creek than ran along side a tall bluff. The cousins would climb to the top of the bluff and dive into the creek and the dog would follow along right behind them. If you threw a large rock into the middle of the creek, he would dive in after it. I won't say he came up with THE rock, but he always came up with A rock. Smile

My son and I finally finished up the YZ250. We actually took it Up North a couple weeks back, but had trouble with a leaky float valve and getting the rear brake bled, so we couldn't ride it. This weekend will be different as everything is fully functional. Overall we rebuilt the entire engine, sandblasted and repainted the frame, replaced all of the traditional Yamaha blue and white plastic with black for something a little different, completely rebuilt the brakes, added a larger (black) fuel tank and recovered the seat, in black of course. The only thing we missed was the white strut covers, but that will be easily remedied with another order to Rocky Mountain ATV. Big Grin

We can't wait to try it out because it was getting pretty tired before coming unglued last summer in typical two stroke fashion.

Nice work Tom. WAY too clean though. Go get dirty!

Nice-looking bike. I had a DRz SuMo in all black, also with a bigger Clarke tank. I hot-rodded the heck out of that bike, loved it, but my wife "strongly suggested" (you know what that means, of course) that I get rid of it when I bought my KTM 690 Enduro.
