That is true, the stuff you can't see or smell is nearly always the worse.

Yup. Many common automotive paints contain di-isocyanates that have exposure limits of 1/10 the odor threshold. Yikes

Just because you can't smell it doesn't mean it isn't hurting you.

[attachment=3275][attachment=3276] This morning I finished my last out job for the year. Time to get back to my own projects. This is a Saito 1.82 cu. in. 2 cylinder 4 stroker. A bundle was save rebuilding this one compared to the price of a new one. I fabricated a new crankshaft. The cam gear and rods are off the shelf. It needs to be run now for an hour or so then it's back to it's owner.

That is an AWESOME engine Billy G. I have a MUCH smaller Saito FA-82A that I have never run hahahah. I bought it used but haven't flown my R/C planes in FAR too long. Thanks for sharing the pictures!

Once again not metal working but still a project. The same cottage we shingled the veranda on. Jim had the dry Ash lumber, we planed it and jointed the edges then ship lapped them. Today we laid the flooring. The boards are 5 1/2 wide, (cut out of 1 x 12's) I was afraid of them cupping so we screwed them down, now have to make cherry plugs for the screw holes.
