Too late, I'm done with that feature but I'll remember that next time, I think. Thanks for the tip. RE: X Power Feed - Mayhem - 02-02-2015 You could eat off that lathe Ed! Nice work. RE: X Power Feed - EdK - 02-08-2015 It's coming along slow but sure. Ed [attachment=10019] [attachment=10020] [attachment=10021] RE: X Power Feed - EdK - 02-08-2015 What type of lubrication should be used with this needle bearing? I'm assuming grease since re-lubing it would mean removing the power feed from the mill table. Ed [attachment=10022] RE: X Power Feed - Highpower - 02-08-2015 I used Lubriplate (white lithium grease) on mine Ed. Coat the bevel gears with it too. Good, I have a tube of that and was going to use it. Ed RE: X Power Feed - f350ca - 02-08-2015 Looking good Ed RE: X Power Feed - DaveH - 02-08-2015 Very nice work Ed DaveH RE: X Power Feed - PixMan - 02-08-2015 Looking great Ed! Being far too anal, I would run around the big square piece with a corner rounding cutter to smooth it out. Then I'd be at it with my ScotchBrite wheel to make it look more like a casting. I might even look for an anodizer to get it some cool color. |
