I'm rather frustrated with the chip tray (the paint really "chipped"...). Swaf seems to like to lodge on it's surface and refused to come out. My Sherline 4410 with 17" bed. This piece has stepper motors added for CNC operation. I've not been using this lathe much since the arrival of the Proxxon lathe. I bought it last year it had never been used from new and was still in the original grease, I got a 3 Phase motor and controler from Newton Tesla plus some spares just befor myford closed. it is a vast improvment over my last lathe peter RE: Let's See Your Lathe - DaveH - 04-01-2012 Peter, One smart lathe, one good catch 2nd hand and still brand new in it's box. Can't get much better than that DaveH RE: Let's See Your Lathe - EdK - 04-02-2012 Bob, Nice mixture of SB lathes you have there. You sure do get some good results with those lathes. Ed RE: Let's See Your Lathe - EdK - 04-02-2012 Peter, Very nice find on the Myford. It's a shame they had to shut their doors though. Ed RE: Let's See Your Lathe - DaveH - 04-02-2012 Wong. So that's what your lathe looks like, nice DaveH RE: Let's See Your Lathe - ScrapMetal - 04-03-2012 Might as well add mine to the list. It's a '39 South Bend 11" with a 4' bed. It was actually sort of clean for once. -Ron RE: Let's See Your Lathe - henryarnold - 04-04-2012 My Grizzly G0602 10x22 Lathe with 1hp 3 phase motor and variable speed using VFD. [attachment=657] |
