Thanks guys. Jim built the veranda last summer, was going to shingle it then but I talked him into waiting till I got the mill built. He built the veranda with cedar from his sons place then brought up some more logs to make the shingles.

The finished product. Can't take all the credit, Jim laid most of the shingles and did the flashing.
