I have a similar one that was supplied by Milwaukee as one of their "Service Fixtures" It is a 4" x 10" x 1" plate with six holes ranging from 0.329" to 1.260" [attachment=4030] The other one is a 110 mm Diameter disc x 25 mm thick that has holes ranging from 10 mm to 28 mm in 2 mm steps. On the back side is a series of holes for a detent spring and ball. This was from a Drill Guide System from Mafell. I find this one quite usefull and rarely ever have it on the drill guide. LOL [attachment=4031] [attachment=4032] Walter RE: Shop Press - stevec - 12-18-2012 I have a drawer full of holes to use on the press but none have their sizes marked and they're really hard to measure! RE: Shop Press - EdK - 12-18-2012 Bob, That does look like a handy fixture. Ed RE: Shop Press - sasquatch - 12-18-2012 Great postings guys, very interesting!! RE: Shop Press - aametalmaster - 12-23-2012 Needed to make a bending punch to form some bars for my neighbors Ford Tractor brush guard. So i used my shaper and lathe to do the task...Bob http://s110.beta.photobucket.com/user/aametalmaster/media/presspunch014_zpsb0ed5507.mp4.html?sort=3&o=0#/user/aametalmaster/media/presspunch014_zpsb0ed5507.mp4.html?sort=3&o=0&_suid=135629250537505952858634814739 RE: Shop Press - sasquatch - 12-23-2012 Thanks for the pics Bob, that is a lot of turning. It hasn't happened yet :) Can't pick up steel until after Christmas because my supplier is closed. So you will have to wait a few more days...Bob |
