RE: Todays Project - What did you do today? - Highpower - 02-06-2015 Thanks Ed. This thing came along at just the right time for me. My old Jacobson Sno-Burst was a real work-out for me. I had to rebuild the diaphragm type carburetor just about every year because the ethanol in our fuel would eat up the diaphragms. Trying to get it started the first snow fall of the season was a major chore. Had to pull on that *@&#^&$!! recoil starter for half an hour while feeding the carb starting fluid long enough for the engine to give enough impulses to break the diaphragms loose so they would move again. Arrrrgggghhhh! Luckily the Toro has a float type carburetor so that shouldn't be a problem anymore. It starts with the first pull of the rope. Still, when the temps really drop, (and with my bad shoulders) I will be very glad to have the electric starter and be able to just "plug and play". RE: Todays Project - What did you do today? - DaveH - 02-06-2015 Nice job Willie, never seen one in real life - don't suppose I ever will. But they sure do look good fun to use. RE: Todays Project - What did you do today? - dallen - 02-08-2015 worked on this today, still have a few things to do to it. And put in some hours on this project. Photo's not the best need a wide angle to get a really good up close shot. DA RE: Todays Project - What did you do today? - TomG - 02-08-2015 I know what the thing on the bottom is, but what the heck is the thing on the top? RE: Todays Project - What did you do today? - schor - 02-14-2015 Made some adapters and feet for a friends hexacopter (drone). RE: Todays Project - What did you do today? - DaveH - 02-14-2015 David, do you use those 'bluing salts' ? DaveH RE: Todays Project - What did you do today? - dallen - 02-14-2015 (02-14-2015, 12:51 PM)DaveH Wrote: David, do you use those 'bluing salts' ? I wish, but they are way too much trouble to use inside the house. and I don't have a place outside to put the setup at. So its chemical solutions until I get rich and can afford a separate building to put them in. DA |
