RE: Coke Forge Build - f350ca - 11-20-2014 The 36 grit isn't used over here, if we're going to do work that rough we just drag the part down a gravel road behind truck. RE: Coke Forge Build - krv3000 - 11-20-2014 rob you gowing to jhons on sat RE: Coke Forge Build - RobWilson - 11-20-2014 (11-20-2014, 04:31 PM)krv3000 Wrote: rob you gowing to jhons on sat Aye ,more than likely mate , you need out ? Rob RE: Coke Forge Build - EdK - 11-20-2014 The 36 grit must have that same toxic substance the China suppliers used in the dry wall they sent over a few years ago that was making people sick. We don't allow that stuff here anymore. Good luck with that. Ed RE: Coke Forge Build - Mayhem - 11-20-2014 Hi Rob - could I suggest that you start a different thread for the linisher build? RE: Coke Forge Build - krv3000 - 11-21-2014 yep just fill the van up blue role and spray RE: Coke Forge Build - RobWilson - 11-24-2014 Made a start on the butterfly valve , First off I slapped a 1" x 4" slice of EN3876 steel into the CUB Lathe for a wee bit of spinning about . Next off two flats milled on the Viceroy mill . Then onto the Aciera F3 to do the slots . Using a surface gauge to clock the job in , as I already had the PCD set . Then onto the drill to have a couple of holes poked in , Body done . Rob RE: Coke Forge Build - awemawson - 11-24-2014 Looking very nice Rob ! Not come across EN3876 before - is that a stainless steel? RE: Coke Forge Build - DaveH - 11-24-2014 Rob, Very nicely done - excellent job Liked the set up to drill and ream the hole(s) Well photographed DaveH RE: Coke Forge Build - EdK - 11-24-2014 As usual, very nice Rob.
