For small broaches like that, I just use the quill on my mill to push them through. It doesn't take much. Tom RE: Latest Delivery - rleete - 05-18-2023 I bought a HF arbor press many years ago for a project that never happened. It took longer to clean the decades of crud off it that it took to press the broach through. But I think for sizes that small, a drill press would be more than enough. RE: Latest Delivery - Highpower - 05-19-2023 I'm blaming you (again) EdK. Seller is discount_machine, on eBay. It pictured a plain wooden box, but the one that showed up is this fancy case as shown: So much easier than doing it on a lathe or in a shaper. RE: Latest Delivery - EdK - 05-21-2023 Got the broach set along with a chunk of brass I need for a future project. Both from ebay. Ed [attachment=18328] RE: Latest Delivery - rleete - 05-22-2023 Copycat. RE: Latest Delivery - Highpower - 05-22-2023 (05-22-2023, 06:25 AM)rleete Wrote: Copycat. Wow. Rough crowd. |
