Yeah but lots of companies used to give out plastic ones for free (including Starrett) or with a minimum purchase. Of course with profit margins now those days are long gone. My favorite chart today however is the one Stan Zinkowski designed. His layout makes it much easier for me to find a specific fraction quickly. I printed out several letter size charts and laminated them. I put one at each machine, the work bench, inside the tool boxes, my computer desk... Of course it helps to have a color laser printer and a laminating machine in the house. [attachment=18274] RE: Latest Delivery - rleete - 04-02-2023 Poster frames are $10 at walmart. Make sure you don't grab the better one; those are close to 20 bucks. RE: Latest Delivery - arvidj - 04-02-2023 Mine came the other day. I immediately took it to the accessory building behind the house. Took it out of the mailer but didn't unfold it. Because I'm lazy and don't want to walk back there to measure it I'll ask ... what size frame is needed? And I'm surprised Ed didn't print a frame. RE: Latest Delivery - rleete - 04-02-2023 Poster is 25" x 39" Naturally that is an odd size. Poster frames are 24" x 36". I've been using it for a very long time. I'd sure like to get it printed at about 24 x 36 and laminated but I'm sure it'd be pricey. About 15 years ago I took a pdf of a blueprint to FedEx/Kinko's to get it printed out full size. (21" x 33") Silly me didn't ask for a price first. They charged me $60 for two copies of the print when I went back to pick it up. No lamination! RE: Latest Delivery - EdK - 04-03-2023 The Size Chart PDF file that I attached to my previous post had an error so I removed it and attached the fixed version. It had that error when I first downloaded it years ago & I know I had fixed it but attached the old file. It had 8.7mm as .6425 instead of .3425. Ed |
