RE: Latest UPS Delivery - EdK - 02-11-2015 (02-11-2015, 06:57 PM)PixMan Wrote: Did you already have those or just buy them, Ed? Nice looking tools! I just received them from Amazon today. They appear very nicely made. Ed RE: Latest UPS Delivery - PixMan - 02-11-2015 Interesting. How about a link so I can compare pricing to what I get from a local distributor? RE: Latest UPS Delivery - Mayhem - 02-12-2015 Go use them Ed - I'd like a review please RE: Latest UPS Delivery - EdK - 02-12-2015 (02-11-2015, 09:17 PM)PixMan Wrote: Interesting. I'll let you know how they work out. Ed RE: Latest UPS Delivery - arvidj - 02-12-2015 Ken, Here is a link to one of the sets you mentioned in the Good quality chisels and punches thread ... http://www.amazon.com/Mayhew-61050-Punch-Chisel-24-Piece/dp/B000CBT73I/ref=sr_1_23?s=hi&ie=UTF8&qid=1423751891&sr=1-23 If you don't mind, how does the Amazon price compare to the price you were quoted? Thanks, Arvid RE: Latest UPS Delivery - EdK - 02-22-2015 (02-12-2015, 06:10 AM)EdK Wrote:(02-12-2015, 05:26 AM)Mayhem Wrote: Go use them Ed - I'd like a review please I only used one of them to start the removal of the roll pin that holds the hand crank onto the lead screw but I assume they would all work the same, which was just fine. Didn't do a video then! DaveH RE: Latest UPS Delivery - Highpower - 02-22-2015 I've been falling behind. Misc items from the last several weeks. My new Eagle 66 oil can collection. Some wire cleaning and lube pads for the mig welders. A really nice pair of Starrett key seat clamps. (evilbay - cheap!) "General" washer & gasket cutter, and spare blades. I've just about worn out my pair of med/fine Eze diamond sharpeners, and decided to go with the full-monty this time. Finally found a US standard sheet metal gauge at a decent price. New ground clamp for my tig welder. (Upgrade) A couple of "Vampliers" for removing screws with stripped out heads. And a free sample of water based metalworking AnchorLube to try out. [attachment=10117] Unfortunately the camera flash washed out most of the beautiful color case hardening in the pic. [attachment=10118] Almost forgot (again) -- the non-Fe boring bar inserts I ordered (Amazon) finally arrived after several weeks. EDIT: And no, they're not polished to a mirror finish like yours are Ed. [attachment=10119] RE: Latest UPS Delivery - EdK - 02-22-2015 Willie, What are those Starrett key seat clamps used for, other than seating keys? I don't know what a key seat clamp is, obviously. Ed |
