RE: Band Saw Light - rubes - 08-18-2024 yep...stopped over at the parking lot sale yesterday and grabbed one. It is a nice lite. May have to get a couple more for working on/under the car etc. I think its a nice feature that once the light is on for a few seconds...you dont have to remember to press the switch three times to turn it off. I also like the way the switch on the HF light illuminates green/red to give you an indication of the battery state of charge while you are using it. The LED magnifying glass I recently bought has to be cycled through the stages in order to turn it off. I find it annoying when I accidentally go past "off" and have to go all the way round again. Have them things stuck everywhere. They're also the only ones that showed the correct color when taking a picture with artificial light. Mine does the same thing. I was just down in the shop, and after trying to adjust it, only to have it slowly droop out of position, I moved it. Now it's at the top of the column on the control box. Unfortunately, the box is plastic, so it won't "stick" with the magnet. My solution was to make a steel plate taped to the box with 3M VHB tape. I removed the stupid people warning label, don't tell OSHA. |
