RE: General question; milling slots - Dr Stan - 11-21-2017 Instead of Machinery's Handbook the Machinists Ready Reference is a more appropriate reference book for machinists. It is also quite a bit more economical. https://www.amazon.com/Machinists-Ready-Reference-C-Weingartner/dp/0970339852/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1511275081&sr=8-1&keywords=machinists+ready+reference Another superior choice is The New American Machinist's Handbook, now out of print. I was fortunate enough to buy a new one in the late 70's before it went out of print. Written for the machinist/tool maker instead of the engineer. Today they are sought after and are expensive. https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/0070370656/ref=dp_olp_used?ie=UTF8&condition=used RE: General question; milling slots - pepi - 11-22-2017 Any thoughts on the company Travelers Tools ?
