Sorry, that wasn't at you, that was a very nerdy Dr. Who reference. One of the "bad guy" characters is a race called the Dalek.

Yep, the Beeb has rebooted the series, what... 9 seasons now? The story arc of the 2nd & 3rd seasons is surprisingly touching. The production values get progressively better as the seasons progress - you won't notice if you watch from the first season onward, but you'll definitely notice if you start in the middle & go back.
