Reviving an old thread.

Dave,

So I assume you used the horizontal spindle on your mill to do the grinding. Is that correct?

Thats how I did it Ed with a large surface grinding wheel to get the surface speed up.
I had a tube and container hooked up flooding the arbour support plain bearing to keep any grit out and a old vacuum cleaner hooked up to carry the dust away.
I have way covers on the mill so they just needed a good clean afterwoods.
