RE: P&W 1830 Radial in 1/6 scale. - Bill Gruby - 03-24-2013 Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. You take it on the chin. The front case slipped and I missed it. It cannot be fixed. The last flat is off location by 2 degrees and too small. This will set me back a week or so. I am already cutting the new blank. That is all I will do today. RE: P&W 1830 Radial in 1/6 scale. - dallen - 03-25-2013 to put it plainly that sucks, I hate it when that happens and I'm a long way from doing projects that take that long. hope the second one makes it thru with no problems. DA RE: P&W 1830 Radial in 1/6 scale. - Bill Gruby - 03-25-2013 After 40+ years at this, I've made plenty of mistakes. The trick is to shove them away as fast as possible. If you leave the bad part in plain sight you will take longer to get back to business. "Billy G" |
