RE: 5 Cylinder Radial - DaveH - 10-29-2016 Fantastic work Brian Looks amazing DaveH RE: 5 Cylinder Radial - racer-john - 11-20-2016 Beautiful workmanshift. Hope to hear it run soon. RE: 5 Cylinder Radial - Brian - 01-12-2017 Have had a lot of bad weather over the past two months. six and a half inches of rain in 12 hours caused land slides in the town and on the mountain roads and then snow. The shop was just to cold for me so I spent my time doing another slide show. you have seen most of it apart from the tapping part. other than that I have been tucked up in the warm practising my ukulele. Still waiting to get a good gear cutter. Brian RE: 5 Cylinder Radial - krv3000 - 01-12-2017 Fantastic work Brian RE: 5 Cylinder Radial - TomG - 01-12-2017 Hey Brian, I was just wondering what you have been up to. Thanks for sharing the slide show. It's definitely starting to look like a legitimate radial. Tom RE: 5 Cylinder Radial - pepi - 01-13-2017 Brian, I have a two descriptive words for that OUTRAGEOUS and RIGHTEOUS. That is an extreme build, feel very lucky for having the pleasure of seeing it come together. Thank you Greg RE: 5 Cylinder Radial - Brian - 02-04-2017 At last the replacement cutter has arrived. I have made a test piece so tomorrow I will make the test gear. Keep fingers crossed. Tom RE: 5 Cylinder Radial - Bill Gruby - 02-05-2017 Many times people have bought from ebay only to find the sets, 1 thru 8 marked in reverse order.. The problem is ongoing with lots of complaints. "Billy G" RE: 5 Cylinder Radial - Brian - 02-06-2017 This one is marked as number 4 but 21- 25 tooth so what do we believe ?? Made a hash of the test yesterday My fault something moved during the last cut and I cant find what. Very annoying, good job it was only the test piece. Brian |
