DA RE: Coke Forge Build - Mayhem - 10-18-2014 hmmm - Rob, John, Mick and Bob have been a little quiet of late. Either someone jumped them for getting all the good stuff at the local car boot sales or they are in the pub... RE: Coke Forge Build - RobWilson - 10-19-2014 Hi Dallen and Darren , I wanted to be allot further along with this project , as Dallen mentioned forging is a good winter sport and my plan was it have the forge set-up ready for my winter break from work , that still maybe possible , its just I have been flat out at work at the moment and in the spare time I have had all I can be arsed to do is read about forging lol . Rob RE: Coke Forge Build - Mayhem - 10-19-2014 You live in the UK Rob - It is winter for 11 months of the year! RE: Coke Forge Build - RobWilson - 10-26-2014 Well I decided to fit a better ,or should I say more suitable electric motor to the blower . I did have to make a new motor mount . and back together for a test . Now were to mount the thing ??? I want /need to keep the forge compact ,within its own foot print .OH how I wish I had a shop as big as some of you lads have . A bit creative pipe work needed Cheers for looking ,Rob RE: Coke Forge Build - awemawson - 10-26-2014 Excellent - far better with a TEFC motor - it might last more than a few days now :) BTW the space you have will ALWAYS be filled to busting however much there is ! RE: Coke Forge Build - doubleboost - 10-26-2014 Very nice Mate We will have to see the lads about some stainless pipe & bends John RE: Coke Forge Build - EdK - 10-26-2014 Well done Rob. What's the black thing on top of the motor? A place for all of the electrical connections possibly? Ed RE: Coke Forge Build - doubleboost - 10-26-2014 Connections & start capacitor John |
