Things keep getting in the way but they're mostly family things so I don't mind so much. I have nothing other than a graduation party to go to this weekend so I just may finally getr' done. Ed RE: Fixing a Leaky RF-45 Mill Head - Enco - Mayhem - 06-27-2012 Good to hear that Ed - I had forgotten all about this rebuild until Dave posted today. We expect pics (lots of pics)!!! RE: Fixing a Leaky RF-45 Mill Head - Enco - EdK - 06-30-2012 The top is back on and the gear train seems to all turn as it should, by hand anyway. Time to go to my great nephew's graduation party. I may have some time when I get back this evening to get the sight glass, vent tube and drain plug installed so I can top it off with oil to see if any leaks out overnight. I found one on ebay and the seller is in Minnesota so I should have it in a few days. Ed RE: Fixing a Leaky RF-45 Mill Head - Enco - Highpower - 07-02-2012 Don't sweat the small stuff Ed. It's a part of doing business. It's looking like a bulletproof rebuild so far. Willie RE: Fixing a Leaky RF-45 Mill Head - Enco - ETC57 - 07-02-2012 Ed, It looks to me that your doing a first rate job on your rebuild, being careful as your are means you won't have any do overs. I find your thread enjoyable as well as educational. Jerry. RE: Fixing a Leaky RF-45 Mill Head - Enco - EdK - 07-03-2012 I got the seal today so I should be able to get the mill buttoned up so I can fill it with oil to see if it leaks overnight. The end is finally in sight, assuming no leaks. Ed RE: Fixing a Leaky RF-45 Mill Head - Enco - EdK - 07-03-2012 The seal is in, the vent pipe is installed and the motor mounted, but not wired up yet. It's starting to look like a mill again. Ed RE: Fixing a Leaky RF-45 Mill Head - Enco - DaveH - 07-03-2012 Ed, Did you paint it with some special invisible paint 'cause I can't see it???
