It will get all scratched up and marred but stops it going rusty.
I didn't like the paint much, first time I have used it. Although I like the colour

I'm not going to use it - will spoil the paint work.
It won't get used a lot but for the occasional bend it will come in handy.
I'm looking at building the "most expensive log splitter in the world" (Steve's fault) so it may come in handy for that.
