RE: Stock racks...what do you use? - DaveH - 05-20-2015 C'on guys Ed's done it all for you DaveH RE: Stock racks...what do you use? - Vinny - 05-20-2015 If you're referring to the 4 pieces that stuck out above the 1.8M piece, I just figured they were for a shelf. RE: Stock racks...what do you use? - EdK - 05-20-2015 My next comment was going to be the horizontal pieces you shortened sticking out the back should have actually been lengthened instead. That's correct At least you thought there was a reason for them, I have no idea what I was thinking not a lot I had CAD drawings, 3D models (I can move around) I even built it, and still did not see they were not required. I'm sure I could enter myself for some sort of award DaveH RE: Stock racks...what do you use? - DaveH - 05-20-2015 I knew from the very beginning that the max length of stock on the back would be 1.8 meters because it would hit the underside of the shelf if it was much longer. I was happy with that as well - yet somehow I lost what I was doing. I think my brain cell must have rebooted. C'on guys don't you think it is a bit strange / odd to have done that and not seen it. DaveH RE: Stock racks...what do you use? - dallen - 05-20-2015 that's not as bad as some on the things that I used to see when I was working in the plant and out in the field installing asphalt plants, one of those things that if you grind it off and get some paint on it before anyone sees it no one will know. DA RE: Stock racks...what do you use? - EdK - 05-20-2015 You call that a mistake. Come back whining when you have a real mistake. That's true, I'm not upset or bothered too much about it, that's not true it has bothered me in a strange way not sure why just has. I will definitely cut the bluudy things off DaveH RE: Stock racks...what do you use? - Vinny - 05-20-2015 (05-20-2015, 06:37 PM)DaveH Wrote: C'on guys don't you think it is a bit strange / odd to have done that and not seen it. No. Like I said, I thought it was for a shelf. RE: Stock racks...what do you use? - DaveH - 05-20-2015 (05-20-2015, 06:57 PM)EdK Wrote: You call that a mistake. I think that is the whole thing, it isn't a mistake, a mistake would be welding it in the wrong place, cutting it to the wrong length ...... sort of thing we all do now and then and blame the dog. I just feel it is a very weird thing not to have noticed earlier. It is just odd. DaveH |
