The larger pilot holes are 5/16 and the smaller .188 hole is for alignment during assembly. Makes sense now. Good thing you get to turn things by hand before it's time to start it up. Pretty cool stuff. When that crank is turning 9500 RPM clearances better be right. And the crankpin will be retained into the crankshaft cheeks so its removable & master rod can be placed in?
