I was at a family picnic all day yesterday. I tried fitting the nut to the lead screw and it's too tall to clear the trough in the saddle. See sketch below. The green is the nut and the blue dashed line is the trough. I need to do some more measurements to see if this is salvageable. Or, can you easily modify the place where it should land?
