Hi Dallen
Just heat dallen, I was worried about slight differences in color ,but all the visitors to the shop think its great, even artistic! after all it is minimal clockmaking we are doing.

the uneven color in the parts make them look even more hand made, the chemicals don't really cost that much to do Niter Bluing 9 parts KNO3 and 1 part Manganese Dioxide melted together and boil the parts at high heat for a few minutes is all it takes and its reuseable.

I'm sure you know that you could lay the parts on a heavier piece of iron and heat from the bottom to even the heat out.

Any hint as to when the writeup on this will be ready?????????

Oh if only I knew when, other things just seem to get in the way,

I hope to get it ticking this week end, but that's only half way to a complete clock!
Also the photo's masses of them, notes for the final write up, drawings ETC.

Any way here is another photo, of the finished Main arbor/winding assembly.
