RE: Making A Welding Table - EdK - 05-31-2014 I finally got around to finishing the assembly of the HF portable welding table. The top is not flat by any stretch of the imagination so it can't be used as a reference surface for welding. That makes this table less useful than it could be. Oh well, It's still slightly better than a piece of Durarock thrown on top of my unused router table. Ed, my welding table must not be flat either 'cause the odd time my welding comes out straight. I haven't yet been able to do it intentionally yet.
