Yeah, really good for northern winters huh? Major balance problem there i think with the center full of slush!! Lol

These big tires and wheels like the 20-22 inch ones, you used to be able to buy a good car for the price of them!! BUT,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,"Just SWIPE" the card!! Sad!

We see them here on cars worth about $500, usually driven by a tattooed 20 year old with his hat on backwards, a cell phone to his ear and what might be a radio going boom! boom! boom! When he gets out of the car, his pants fall down.

Maybe in another 20 years he can trade them in on a nice set of hearing aids. Thumbsup

Yup see them everywere, and they appear to be the new crowd that have no clue, and no chance in hell of ever learning a trade.

There's a couple cars in my area that I call "skateboards" because the wheels are so large that's what the car looks like. I used to work in a garage, and had a kid drive in an old cadillac that he just bought. He wanted us to put new air shocks on so that he could lift the back end to make it look cool. So, we do an inspection first while he stands nearby telling his friends that "I gots a LAC". Serious suspension wear, and brakes that are nearly gone. Nope, do the shocks, and do we have any 22" wheels that will fit? We ended up refusing the work because we didn't want to be liable for the safety of the car.

I thought I'd got a new lathe, but it was just that Ed inspired me and I washed the old girl down.

Think I deserve a you suck for this one. A chap I do some work for from time to time called me the other day wondering if I wanted a tool box he'd come across in his scavenging.
Not in great shape but its storage.

Inside there were a few reamers and end mills. Some good some dull.

More end mills

Some woodruf cutters and dowel pins.

A bunch of center locating punches. And what ever those rods are with the top hats.

And these , not sure what they're called, they thread into a bore, with the carrying tube as a socket, then press the plate down to mark the locations. In 1/2 down to 6-32

And a bunch of odds and ends, center drills, tap extractors, slip stones, and

Won't admit to what I gave him for it. Oh yah and a nice little shop cart for the front of the lathe.
