Digital Protractor - TOM REED - 08-30-2012

Another neat item that I picked up on E-BAY from CHINA I have not used it as of yet on a project but it checks out well and is more accurate than I can get using a regular protractor. There are lots of them on E-BAY of a few different types, but I will post a link to one like I have. I paid less than $20.00 for mine about 10 months ago on bid, no free shipping. It is well made and there are a few differeny models one even has 12 magnets in the v-groove to assist in holding it on a pipe. Very smart electronics and a manual you can easily understand. tom

Another item for the tool collectors among us hihi (morse for laughter)

Tom, I'm really glad you cleared that up for me I (in my charactaristic ignorance) thought it was a poor way of writing "hee hee"

I'm very proud of myself for not jumping all over you for that, Hmm, maybe I am mellowing with age, Naw, just an anomaly.
Thumbsup

Never thought of automotive uses but now I do it would be excellent for camber settings, driveshaft + drivetrain angles etc but it sure does work nice for setting the angles of items in the vise or for setting the angle on a tilting table and I am sure that with a bit of thought I can come up with several other uses. I will bet someone else can come up with other possible uses. tom

ED I could have done ---- -- ---- -- would you have known that was the same?

Just be prepared for the sine plate and gauge blocks crowd to inform you that that equates to a possible 6 minutes of error. Slaphead

Close enough for the things I do. Big Grin

I've used mine to plumb fence posts too. Rotfl
