Drawbar Wrench/Hammer - EdK - 06-09-2013
Since the secret project is no longer secret I thought I'd start a thread on it.

I used copper on mine as brass tends to "spit" bits out
Not a good idea at eye level

I dunno I've had my Brass hammer for about 100yrs. and no problems.

Well, there's really no clear lines between brass/copper/zinc alloys. There's a million of them.
I don't think I'll be able to use one of those. The Alliant mill has a long hex draw bar. While that allows you to change tools without fully retracting the quill, it means less clearance on top when you DO retract it.
