I looked at that to and almost bought one. Decided to hold off and maybe make one.

I had planned on making one also but when this one came up for sale I don't think I could have bought the materials to make one for the same cost.
This one will get used mostly for smaller threads. I'll single point anything greater than 1/4", probably.

A couple of items arrived today. I went with the HF belt sander that also had the disc sander.
Aluminum for a mini pallet for the mill. 1.25" x 4" x 6"

Ed's post reminded me.. I got some aluminum the other day for an upcoming project. I'm making a rotary for doing pens. The pens lay in slots on the table and a stepper will move each pen under the laser to be engraved then on to the next one. This one will have either 20, 24 or 25 slots. Haven't decided yet. I'll do some tests on slot sizes to see what works best, but they'll be tapered, approx 10mm at the surface, 6-7 at the bottom and around 5mm deep. My plate is a 12x12x3/8" that I'll round out to a 12" circle. The other piece is 5x24x1/4" and part of it will be the base for mounting the stepper and support for the plate.

The good belts for the grinder arrived today. Unfortunately the wheels on the grinder aren't even close to being round so some work will need to be done before I can use the belt grinder.

At least it's good you will only need to do the fix once. (I hope.)

I'll try fixing the existing wheels but in the end I may end up making new aluminum wheels for it. Hopefully not.

I just used a scraper and took off the molding seam. They work fine. Never even looked to see if they were round.
Full of ideas, but slow to produce parts

Lots of wobble in one of them. It turns out the bearing wasn't pressed in all of the way on one of them and it's at an angle.

As the pic says, 4 in 1 machine. Did not include the TIG torch which is on order. I have received the argon flow meter and need to get a tank of argon. Will soon be able to build some trusses for a proper roof for the shop.
