Made the idler gear spindles for the universal dividing head. Photo shows one of them in place and the other sitting in front.
   
Also bored the splined centre out of the last of a few 14DP gears I picked up, bored the ID to fit the dividing head spindles then cut the keyway on the shaper. Not sure if I've posted a pic of the keyway cutting setup I made for the shaper before, unlike when I was trying to hold the work in the vice, this has the rigidity to be able to cut the slot to the full width rather than having to take roughing passes with different tools.
   
   
   

The shaper has sat unused for probably a couple of months now but when there's a little job like this it is a very nice thing to have. Can't wait to get the chance to try some dovetails on it, tried to get a forklift tine to make some QCTP holders from but the scrap bloke is still on holiday.

PS just previewed this post and the photo of the dividing head spindles is very poor, I'll try and get a better one when I've made the nuts and spacers.
