That degreaser did a great job.
Free advice is worth exactly what you payed for it.

Oh crap. I thought all it needed was a good clean and a spring clip for the dividing fingers.

Not your fault Pete and for the price I am certainly not complaining, as you practically gave it to me. Besides, gives me something to do
I was very impressed with the degreaser Greg - it practically turned brown as soon as the first part went in. Soaked for 10 minutes and then rinse. You use it neat, so I can see how I could use up 20L very quickly if not careful. I'm going to get a spray bottle to use.

I got a nice 10" horizontal/vertical rotary table with tailstock for sale.
Sad, I'd make that for you if I had time. If I had a machine. Thanks given by: Mayhem

Dallen is correct. For the profile all one really needs are the two flats for the drilled & taped hole and the clearance hole. Just have to use some longer mounting bolts, or counter bore for heads on a socket head bolt. Took another look at the part. Is there another crack other than the one which broke off the "lug"?

OTOH, I'm have access to a nice little woodworking shop...and a guy to run it. :)

It is a little more complicated than that, as it has a horizontal slot as well as the vertical one, so the two arms are (mostly) independent of the base. I was hoping that my drawing made this clear but I have included another photo below:

As you say, you have other options available to you, without the ongoing cost of maintenance. Of course, you are welcome to come use my lathe, mill, surface grinder and shaper at any time Did you move all the mill tooling with the mill?
