The owner of the weld shop seemed to expect it to take the same level of abuse as an American or European made vise.

using google is usually a better way to search any forum.
site:http://www.metalworkingfun.com/ receiver hitch note the "site:" command followed by the url then the search words.

Got this handy little tool (Shars, via eBay) last week. Never knew what I was missing. Holy cow, soooo much easier than a file. If you don't have one, get one! Less than $7, shipped.
Full of ideas, but slow to produce parts

Less than $7, shipped. I have the genuine article, a Noga. Actually I have two of them, don't recall how that happened but I've had them over 20 years. I've added a couple different tips for different materials, they're "quick change." I may add the sheet metal edging tip if I remember next time I'm ordering from MSC/Enco or other dealer. That said, I don't use it for everything. The well-worn "burr knife" (a.k.a. bearing scraper) gets a LOT of use because of it's finer control. When my hands give out or start shaking uncontrollably from the heavy drinking or Parkinsons I always have the Noga. ;) (Just kidding about the shakes, I really don't drink and no family history of the disease.)

I guess I can call it a delivery since I delivered it to me.
At a local auction I was able to pick up a few things. When I bought my mini-lathe, they guy I got it from threw in a bunch of tooling. Bits, hold downs, jacks, chucks and some other things. Unfortunately the keys that were with the chucks were rather useless since someone ground down the centers. One of the Starrett stands has a non working magnet switch so I'll have to open it up. Probably a piece of the magnet chipped off. The one with the yellow base and lever sticking straight up is frozen, so that will take some tlc as well. The rest work fine. Then there was something I've always needed, but never could cough up the cash for... ![[Image: auc4.jpg]](http://metalshop.nobucks.net/pix/auc4.jpg) A couple missing, but a couple of extras. That's it. About $150 for all of it.
