Acme & metric trapezoidal threads can be the trickiest to do because of the included angle being 1/2 that of a standard 60º thread.
When making them I find that there's a VERY fine line between "the gauge doesn't quite go though the nut" and "clink clink" looseness. Usually, that difference is nothing more than that last "spring pass." Good job Ed! Thanks given by: EdK

I guess I'm not going to start on the nut holder today. I could have sworn I had the material I needed but alas, two sweeps through the shop looking for it turned up empty so I'll have to order some. Oh well, I can work on getting the mill back together so I can mill the nut holder and I also need to mill the scallops in the nut with the flange.
