I'm going to look at making out of 30 x 3mm Stainless steel and stick welding it. All depends upon the cost.
My wife also likes the idea of making out of stainless but added can I paint it black Bash  Bash   Bash

Speaking of redneck. I was gifted another hand crank blower for a forge, thought how cool if I made an L shaped pipe, mount the blower on one end pointing down then bring the other end into a fire pit or Boma. A hand crank fire.
