I bought a mill!
#1
I'm pretty stoked and the wife doesn't get it so I'm going to share with you guys. I went and looked at a mill today. A Clausing 8520. It looks rough, but under the grime, it's in darn good shape, everything is tight runs smooth. A set of collets is included, along with an assortment of mills and cutters. Also comes with a dividing head and turn table. The seller was local and a decent guy, so I only haggled a little. We agreed on $1500 and I have him a deposit. I'll get it this week or next weekend depending on work schedule. Yippie.

Nitsug,

You know when you get a new tool, you're required to prove it by posting pictures so I assume pictures will be forthcoming. Big Grin

That's a good sized mill. Not huge but yet with some rigidity.
